Finn Havanese Puppy Male in Reading, Pennsylvania

My story
***You must live within 2 hours of Berks/Lancaster to apply for Finn***

Finn is a 4-month-old Havanese, poodle, Shih Tzu mix who's ready to find his perfect forever home.

He was surrendered by a puppy mill along with his two brothers. All of them had ear infections but have all been to the vet and received treatment.

Finn is a very shy little guy. He is hesitant about new people but very outgoing with new animals. It takes him a little time to warm up to new people and will show you he's comfortable with you when he comes to you for snuggles. He loves to run around the house with his brother and the other pups in his foster home. They all get along really great and enjoy playing together. He loves to snuggle up with his foster parents or one of the other pups and get lots of love and snuggles. He will pancake up against your side and be happy to take a nice long nap with you. Finn has been around cats as well but doesn't seem interested in them.

We are currently working on potty training, and he has been doing great. He needs a little help with getting outside, it's a big scary world for him so reassuring him and hanging close to him will be needed as he navigates his new surroundings. He is not used to being on a leash, his foster home has a fenced in yard and goes outside with him to potty. Finn has also been amazing while crated. He knows this is a safe place for him and goes to it when he needs to calm down or is feeling unsure.

Finn would do best in a home that currently has a pup to help show him how to be a dog and help him grow into the amazing pup we know he is.

Because of Finn's unique breed mix he will need a family that is committed to brushing him on a regular basis and making sure he is seen by a groomer every 4-6 weeks.

Finn is micro chipped, up to date on vaccines and has been given a clean bill of health.

Because of his age he will not be neutered before adoption. He will be adopted on a neuter contract and will need to be neutered when he turns 6 months old. You will be required to pay a $250 neuter deposit in addition to the adoption donation. The $250 neuter deposit will be reimbursed upon receiving proof of altered status.

If you think Fin would be an amazing fit for your family... apply today!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Finn, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
